The enclosed is a specification for a portable modular night vision surveillance system to perform the following tasks: -
  • To operate in both urban and rural night conditions from twilight to overcast starlight.
  • To operate as a handheld passive night vision observation device
  • For Night Vision operation as a Video Camera System
  • For Night Vision Monitoring with a Digital Hand-Held Sony Walkman VCR
  • To operate in all weather conditions

CAMCORDER OPERATION

Recording of the video signal will be direct to a Sony DG1000 Digital Video Recorder/Monitor or similar

SLR OPERATION

To operate with either 35mm digital SLR or digital video cameras (Canon preferred)

OBJECTIVE LENS OPERATION

The system will be supplied with an X55 motorized zoom lens 24-1320mm focal length zoom lens and a 2000mm lens for long range observation exceeding 3klm (compatible with all C mount lens manufacturers). A C mount to bayonet adapter is available for use with 35mm lenses)

LASER ILLUMINATOR

The system can be supplied with a 3 Watt IR illuminator to illuminate the center 30% of the picture

CAMERA ACCESSORIES

The system will be delivered with all cables, connectors and batteries for complete operation.

PAN & TILT SYSTEM

The system can be supplied with a 24Vdc pan and tilt unit to be controlled by the operator
adjacent to the camera. He will also have full control of the lens zoom and focus

GUARANTEE

The camera shall carry a 1-year warranty.
